The main benefits of cloud voice for your business

Cloud voice gives your team more flexibility, simpler call handling, and easier support as your business changes. Staff can make and take business calls from laptops, mobiles, or desk phones, while your business keeps direct numbers, smart routing, and one calling setup that is easier to manage than a traditional phone system.

Choose a calling platform

Cloud phone system or Microsoft Teams calling?

Start with where your team wants to make and receive calls. The pricing section below compares the plans within each product family.

Cloud phone system

A standalone business phone system with smart routing, direct numbers, voicemail transcription, and no Microsoft 365 dependency.

Microsoft Teams calling

Business calling inside Microsoft Teams, either using your existing Microsoft licensing or with the Teams licence included in the plan.

Start with how your team wants to work

The fastest way to narrow the options is to decide whether you want a standalone cloud phone system or calling directly inside Microsoft Teams.

1

Need a cloud phone system?

Choose Cloud Voice Business for core calling, routing, and reporting, or Cloud Voice Pro when call recording, transcription, and AI summaries matter.

2

Already using Microsoft Teams?

Choose Teams Voice DR if you already have the right Microsoft 365 licensing and want to add NZ business calling inside Teams.

3

Want Teams without full M365?

Choose Teams Voice Essentials. The Teams licence is bundled into the monthly price, making it the simplest all-in-one option.

4

Need certainty on heavy calling?

If your team makes very high volumes of NZ mobile or Australia calls, ask about fixed-price high-volume calling bundles for predictable monthly billing.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions businesses usually ask before moving business phone calls into the cloud.

Can we keep our existing business phone numbers when moving to cloud calling?

Usually, yes. We can normally move your existing numbers across, so customers keep calling the same lines. This usually takes 5 to 10 working days and costs $20 per number, with the first port free on a 24-month term.

Do we still need desk phones with a cloud phone system?

No. Many teams use laptops, mobiles, or headsets instead. If some of your staff still want desk phones, we can support that as well.

What is the difference between cloud voice calling and Microsoft Teams calling?

Cloud voice is a separate business phone system. Teams calling puts business calling inside Microsoft Teams. The best fit depends on how your team works today and whether you already rely on Microsoft 365. Teams Voice DR needs a Microsoft 365 licence with Teams Phone Standard, while Teams Voice Essentials includes the Teams licence in the monthly price.

Are New Zealand and Australia calling costs included in the monthly plan?

Everyday calls to New Zealand and Australia are included on the plans where that is listed, including mobile calls for normal business use. High-volume automated calling, telemarketing, and call centre outbound calling are not included under the fair use policy.

What setup fees, contract terms, and cancellation rules apply to cloud voice plans?

You can choose month-to-month, 12-month, or 24-month terms, and cancellation needs 30 days notice. Setup is $300 for Cloud Voice Business and Pro, $450 for Teams Voice DR, and $750 for Teams Voice Essentials. Setup is waived on 24-month terms. Prices are in NZD excluding GST, were correct in April 2026, and can change with 30 days notice.

How do call recording, transcription, and AI call summaries work on each plan?

Cloud Voice Pro includes AI call summaries. Teams Voice plans include call recording and transcription, but AI summaries need the Microsoft Teams Premium add-on. All plans include NZ-based setup, onboarding, and ongoing support.
