The main benefits of managed IT for your business

Managed IT helps you reduce downtime, strengthen security, and give your team one reliable place to go for support. Instead of reacting to problems after they happen, you get proactive monitoring, patching, Microsoft 365 management, and practical advice built into one monthly service.

Plan guide

Find the right level of Managed IT support

Start with your team size, then compare the support and security level you need. The pricing cards below show the main differences.

Business

For teams of 10 or more that need unlimited remote helpdesk support and stronger device controls.

How to Match the Plan to Your Business

Most businesses with 10 or more staff start on Business+. If you need tighter security or operate in a regulated sector, Business Pro is designed for that step up.

1

Start with Team Size

Core covers 1–9 staff. Once you reach 10 users, the plans move to per-user pricing with Business, Business+, or Business Pro.

2

Decide on Support Depth

Business is the first step into unlimited remote helpdesk, stronger endpoint controls, and regular monthly reporting for growing teams.

3

Add Backup & Remote Access

Business+ is the right fit when you need Microsoft 365 backup, point-in-time recovery, secure remote access, and a 4-hour support target.

4

Add Security & Governance

Add more security to your Microsoft 365 tenant with Cloudservices Security & Governance when you need stronger controls, better visibility, and ongoing policy management.

Choose the Managed IT plan that fits your team

All plans include Microsoft 365 licensing and management. Core and Core Plus use fixed monthly pricing for smaller teams, while Business, Business+, and Business Pro move to per-user pricing from 10 staff onward.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions business owners usually ask when weighing up the benefits of managed IT support.

What are the benefits of managed IT for a growing business?

Managed IT helps a growing business avoid downtime, improve security, and give staff one place to get help. It also brings together monitoring, software updates, Microsoft 365 support, and IT planning in one monthly service, so tech issues are less likely to slow your team down.

What is included in managed IT services for a New Zealand business?

Managed IT usually includes helpdesk support, device monitoring, software updates, security checks, Microsoft 365 support, and practical advice. We confirm exactly what is covered before you sign up, so you know what you are getting each month.

What are the requirements for the Core and Core Plus plans?

To deliver responsive, predictable support at the Core and Core Plus price point, your environment must meet the following standards.

Supported Environment Requirements

Workstations

  • Windows Pro
  • Supported hardware
  • Vendor-supported devices

Microsoft 365

  • Business Premium licensing
  • Supported Microsoft 365 configuration

Network

  • Business-grade network equipment
  • Supported Wi-Fi infrastructure

Backup

  • Microsoft 365 backup service

Applications

  • Supported business applications
  • Vendor-supported software

What happens if my business doesn't meet these standards?

Don't worry, many small businesses come to us with a mixture of older devices, consumer equipment, or technology that has evolved over time.

As part of onboarding, we'll assess your environment and identify any areas that may create support, reliability, or security concerns.

Where improvements are needed, we'll provide practical recommendations and can assist with upgrading or standardising your environment over time.

Does this mean Cloudservices won't support my business?

No.

Our goal is to help your business succeed, not create barriers.

However, some issues may be caused by unsupported or unsuitable equipment rather than normal IT support requirements. In these situations, we may recommend remediation, upgrades, or replacement equipment to bring the environment into a supportable state.

Do we need to replace our existing systems before switching managed IT providers?

No. We can start by supporting the systems you already have, then improve any weak spots over time. That keeps disruption low and makes the change easier to manage.

How fast can Cloudservices respond when business IT stops working?

We handle most IT issues remotely first because that is usually the quickest way to get your team working again. If the problem needs someone on site, we arrange a visit and keep you updated on what happens next.

Is managed IT worth it for a small business as well as a larger team?

Yes. Small businesses get access to a full IT team without hiring one in-house. Larger teams get more structure, better support cover, and ongoing planning as they grow.
